Actions aimed at implementing the lighting of the three property elements covered by ILUMINA Project. After signing collaboration agreements with the owners of the respective sites, the project team has been working together with an architectural studio specialized in ornamental lighting for historical and cultural heritage. The objective is to create specific lighting solutions for each element, highlighting its architectural details and, at the same time, respecting the surrounding environment, in order to avoid light pollution.
Administrative procedures are also under way to obtain the necessary licenses and authorizations from the entities responsible for Heritage and the Environment, both in Portugal and in Spain. Thus, it is intended to ensure that the proposed lighting interventions are consistent with the historical context, location, and use of each of the selected elements, reinforcing the mission of ILUMINA to value and promote cross-border heritage.
